How HOA Vendor Finder works

Where listings come from

Each listing was compiled from public information, mainly the company's own website. We record the page we checked and the date. We list only the basics: business name, website, phone, service area, and category. We don't copy reviews from other sites, and we don't make up ratings.

Free and unranked

Vendors pay nothing to be listed. Within each category and region, listings appear in alphabetical order. There are no featured, sponsored, or "recommended" positions, and no vendor can pay to move up.

"Unclaimed" listings

Most listings are marked Unclaimed, which means the company hasn't contacted us. A company can correct or remove its listing at any time, for free.

Reviews

Reviews come from community association managers, board members, and residents who hired the vendor. A person reads each review before it's published. We don't publish reviews written by the vendor, a competitor, or anyone with a financial tie to either. A listing shows a rating only after real reviews are approved, so new listings show "No reviews yet."

How the site is funded

The site shows display advertising from Google AdSense. Ads are labeled "Advertisement" and chosen automatically by the network. They don't affect listings or reviews. See our Privacy Policy for details on cookies.

A listing isn't an endorsement. Verify licenses (here's how), ask for insurance certificates, and get comparable written bids.
